10 Old Movies You Need to Watch

{By Ellery Sadler}

I enjoy movies. Ok, that’s pretty much a total understatement. I LOVE movies!

And I see most young people today have a very neglected movie education. Most people don’t even watch old movies. And that is a problem. Believe it or not there are some people who do not know who Elizabeth Taylor or Marlon Brando or Peter O’Toole are.

Not only are these movies just plain wonderful, some of them are deeply moving, artistically incredible, thought provoking, dark, subtle, and all around fabulous.

So here are 10 old movies (some of my favorites) that everyone should watch.

1. Guys and Dolls

An intriguing tale of unlikely love between a proper missionary-girl from ‘Save a Soul Missions’ (Jean Simmons) and a unrepentant gambler (Marlon Brando) who end up on a date in Havana, Cuba – where he wins a bet and she loses her heart.424510cl
